Before we continue, I shall note that I will not explain about bullet crafting.Instead, I'll just give the very basic of basics about bullets.
- There're 4 types of bullets :
- Shots
- Lasers
- Bombs
- Radials
Shots and Lasers gave piercing damage, Bombs and Radials gave crushing damage.
Shots have 3:2 rate of pierce : element. This means, from 100% damage (before multiplied), the piercing damage will be 60% of the base damage, and the shot's element will be 40% of the base damage. Our basic blaze S shot's base damage is 50.So, its base piercing damage is 30, and its base elemental damage is 20.If, we have another gun, for example, falcon (pierce, crush, freeze, spark x1.00; blaze, divine x0.50), and we fire a blaze-element S shot, its damage will be :pierce (30) x 1.00 = 30
blaze (20) x 0.50 = 10
total damage = 40.
Lasers have 2:3 rate of piercing:element.
This means 40% Piercing, 60% Element from base damage.
For example, we use the same gun as above (falcon), and we fire blaze-element S laser:
pierce (20) x 1.00 = 20
blaze (30) x 0.50 = 15
total damage = 35
Bombs are similar to shots, they have 3:2 rate of crushing:element.
And Radials are similar to lasers, they have 2:3 rate of crushing:element.
The conclusion : Pay attention to your bullets!
For shots, the priority is piercing multiplier!
For bombs, the priority is crushing multiplier!
For lasers and radials, the priority is elemental multiplier!
Bullets' base damage:
XS-sized : All-element = 25 damage.
S-sized : All-element = 50 damage, Debuff = 20 damage.
M-sized : All-element = 90 damage, Debuff = 40 damage.
L-sized : All-element = 120 damage.
*) Debuff doesn't have elemental property, thus only deals piercing damage.
Please note that Deco-bullets doesn't deal any damage, but have the cheapest OP cost.
Another note is if a target being hit by two or more bullets in the same time, the second, the third, and the following bullets will have a penalty of damage reduction.
8 bullets hit a target in the same time.
1st bullet 100% damage.
2nd bullet 90% damage.
3rd bullet 40% damage.
4th bullet 17.5% damage.
5th bullet 7.5% damage.
6th bullet 3.75% damage.
7th bullet 1.25% damage.
8th bullet... 0% damage...? (8th bullet's result is 0, even if we use L-sized bullet)
*) If you asked me, how do I know this, the answer is : I cheated (notice the ridiculous amount of fc?) and make an all x1.00 gun, and tested the bullets.
